Prospective Patients
seeking ADI Imaging Services

ADI is dedicated to fast and efficient acquisition of your 3-D image and the transfer of this information to the referring dentist/physician. Your scheduled visit will take approximately 15 minutes of your time from start to finish. Prior to your appointment, your referring doctor would have sent our office a prescription form of what he/she would like to see. Please bring your own referral form with you for cross-reference. When you arrive at our office, you will provide us with some relevant personal data which we enter into our computer system (Note: All patient information will be private and confidential as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations (HIPAA, 1996).

You will then be seated in the chair of the CB MercuRay™ and positioned for optimal scan results. The actual X-ray scan will be approximately 10 seconds. The final part of the imaging appointment will be a 5-6 minute secondary reconstruction process completed by the computer. You will not be required to do anything during this secondary reconstruction, but we ask that you remain in the waiting room during this process. Once our technician verifies that the image acquisitions were performed successfully, the appointment is done.

 

 

The acquired images will be forwarded to your referring dentist/physician directly in the form of printed images and digital files on CD. A certified trained radiologist’s report will accompany the images to facilitate the interpretation of the results.
